Cable Management & other interesting stuff
Effective cable management involves neatly grouping cables with ties, clips, or sleeves to prevent tangling, concealing them whenever possible using trays or channels, minimizing visible cables, and ensuring connections are easily accessible through well-placed outlets or hubs. Cables should be of appropriate length, with excess secured out of sight, and labelled in complex setups for easier identification. Accessories like cable boxes, under-desk trays, or floor channels help keep cables organized and off the desk or floor.
Lets take a look at some good options for your home setup. In my experience you can choose from short and long term accessories. Short term for me is up to 2 years, and anything longer is, well long term. When it comes to short term cabling, I would use something like Velcro. It is easy to handle and easy to quickly adjust. Longer term, you can use cable ties and such. I will make some suggestions.
I will start with cable trays. They are extremely useful for any cables, or power extensions you might use.
